From Carrizozo
Take Hwy 54 North out of Carrizozo 45 miles to Corona. Continue on Hwy 54 through Corona towards Vaughn, travel 2 miles until you cross the railroad tracks via an overpass. Immediately past the overpass there will be a small white house on your right. Turn here and cross cattle guard. You are now traveling east on Torrance County C020. Continue approximately 7.5 miles to the NMSU entrance cattle guard. Just after the cattle guard, you will be welcomed by a wooden sign with directions to continue the additional 1/2 mile to the SWCRS.
From Vaughn
Take Hwy 54 South one mile West of Vaughn off Hwy 285/54. Two miles before arriving in Corona you will come to an overpass. Immediately before climbing overpass you will turn left at a small white house and cross cattle guard. You are now traveling east on Torrance County C020. Continue approximately 7.5 miles to the NMSU entrance cattle guard. Just after the cattle guard, you will be welcomed by a wooden sign with directions to continue the additional 1/2 mile to the SWCRS.
From Roswell
Take Hwy 285 North out of Roswell towards Vaughn. Travel approximately 50 miles or so and make a left on Hwy 247. Travel approximately 46 miles into Corona. Turn right on Hwy 54 through Corona towards Vaughn, travel 2 miles until you cross the railroad tracks via an overpass. Immediately past the overpass there will be a small white house on your right. Turn here and cross cattle guard. You are now traveling east on Torrance County C020. Continue approximately 7.5 miles to the NMSU entrance cattle guard. Just after the cattle guard, you will be welcomed by a wooden sign with directions to continue the additional 1/2 mile to the SWCRS.
From Willard
Turn right on Hwy 42 and travel Southeast. Travel approximately 36 miles to Corona. Turn left on Hwy 54 towards Vaughn, travel 2 miles until you cross the railroad tracks via an overpass. Immediately past the overpass there will be a small white house on your right. Turn here and cross cattle guard. You are now traveling east on Torrance County C020. Continue approximately 7.5 miles to the NMSU entrance cattle guard. Just after the cattle guard, you will be welcomed by a wooden sign with directions to continue the additional 1/2 mile to the SWCRS.
